Quoting Guide
A clear RFQ package helps Sendot Technology review manufacturability faster and respond with a more accurate quotation. The more complete your technical information is, the easier it is to check material, tolerance, finish and production requirements.
What to Include in a CNC RFQ
- 3D CAD files such as STEP, STP, IGS or X_T for geometry review.
- 2D drawings in PDF format when critical dimensions, threads, fits or GD&T requirements are involved.
- Material grade, surface finish, quantity, target lead time and any inspection requirements.
- Application notes if the part has sealing, assembly, appearance or functional performance requirements.
File Preparation Tips
- Use one file per part number when possible, and keep revision names clear.
- Mark critical dimensions on drawings instead of relying only on model geometry.
- Separate prototype quantities from production quantities if you need both price levels.
- Tell us which surfaces are cosmetic, threaded, sealing or inspection-critical.
How Sendot Reviews Your Files
Our engineering team checks manufacturability, machining access, tolerance risk, material availability and finishing compatibility. When something may affect cost or lead time, we will suggest a practical adjustment before production.
